POM Poms could bring new energy and vitality to any room or event. Although traditionally used for weddings and parties, they can be adapted to any environment. All it takes is careful consideration of color, consistency and fame.
Whether a wedding or the birth of a child, or simply decorating a nursery, the following tips will get you started on a rewarding way to DIY home decoration.
Keep it varied.
Pom poms often work best in clusters, it would seem natural and "wild" sequence. (Think wild flowers, clouds, patches of pollen, grapes or floating balls). Combine this with various sizes and will not end the decorative possibilities.
Try mixing and matching your pom poms with hanging paper lanterns (or similar or compatible) colours. The results are rarely anything lacking stunning.
When you select a color:One color is perfect for a formal occasion, especially a wedding (usually white or pink) or milestone birthday or anniversaries. This will bring a festive, but a decent atmosphere, mood lifting at a subconscious level.
In no case should it be as stifling creativity. Choice of location, size, and color is usually more than enough to keep any busy decorator!
When you select multiple colors:Several shades of the same color may be the perfect compromise between the variety and consistency. This is especially effective for pale and bright pinks, which blend brilliantly, bringing a new dynamism and energy for your wedding, baby shower or a nursery.
If you choose a more radically different colors, the color wheel can be a fantastic shortcut to finding a natural, timeless compatible color schemes. (Most likely, you'll find in your local paint or hardware store, although there are many easy online alternatives). This is also a great aesthetic design-intensive course after a few minutes, you can find yourself a much keener eye color!
One common error should get into an uncomfortable middle ground between controlled and frenzied color schemes. Two colors will keep your look fun, varied and thematically appropriate. At the other end of the spectrum full of Rainbow colors scheme (at least 5-6 colors) may look impressive. Everything in between though, and you can find your Pom Pom clusters looking chaotic and affection. Once you pass the two colors, you will usually need to go all the way.
However, there are always exceptions. Always be willing to experiment-you just might surprise yourself!
